A Message
from Our Vicar

For more than forty years, St. Gregorios Orthodox Church has been a spiritual home where generations of faithful have gathered to worship the Holy Trinity, celebrate the Holy Mysteries, and grow together in the Orthodox faith.

What began in January 1983 with just twenty-four faithful families has, by God’s abundant grace, grown into a vibrant parish serving more than one hundred families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our church has been a place where children have been baptized, couples have received the blessing of Holy Matrimony, families have worshipped around the Holy Altar, and countless faithful have been nourished through the celebration of the Holy Qurbana.

Today, however, our parish has outgrown our current sanctuary. As God continues to bless our community, He has also opened the door for us to build a permanent church that will serve generations to come.

This new church is far more than a building. It is a sacred offering to God—a place where future generations will worship, learn, serve, and faithfully receive the apostolic faith entrusted to us through St. Thomas the Apostle and preserved within the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church for nearly two thousand years.

Building this church is both a privilege and a responsibility. As a parish of just over one hundred families, undertaking a $5.5 million construction project is a significant challenge. Yet our confidence rests not in ourselves, but in God’s providence, remembering the words of our Lord:

“With God all things are possible.” St. Matthew 19:26
